Welcome to K4!

August 14, 2015 -
Welcome to Mrs. Smith's K4!  We had a TERRIFIC first day of school!  We met new friends, danced, sang, created sparkling seahorses and went on our treasure hunt as we toured the campus.
Next week we will begin learning more about our daily routine and procedures, school and classroom rules and getting to know more about our new friends.
I am so excited to watch these precious little personalities emerge as they learn and have fun and can't wait to see what all this year has in store!!
Don't forget our Open House is Tuesday at 7:00pm!  Looking forward to seeing you there!

Having So Much Fun in K4!

Between this shirt and the wonderful involvement and support of our parents in all of our functions/activities, I couldn't ask for a better group to share this year!  You guys are wonderful, and I want to thank you again for the privilege of spending the days with your treasures!

The fun never stops in K4!  We had a wonderful time celebrating our 100th day of school together! Also, a special thank you to all of the parents who helped on our field trip to The Sandbox last week and for everyone bringing in their bikes for our bike-a-thon on Friday!  The children had a blast, and I am happy to report there were no injuries!

This week we have a lot going on.  Open House is tonight from 6-7!  Bring a friend, visit the classrooms and then go cheer on the Rebels in their basketball game afterwards!
This week's letter is "P".  We will be dressing up as Pirates and Princesses on Thursday and making pig pizzas!
Grandparents Day is Friday.  Please have grandparents meet in the gym at 12:30 p.m.
