Handwriting -  Encourage your students to practice writing their names and their letters (upper and lower) at home.  Also, have them tell you what sound each letter makes.  We are getting really close to putting those sounds together to write simple words!

We are working on memorizing our phone numbers.  Singing your number to the tune of “frère Jacques” and having the children sing it back to you helps them remember the numbers easier.  For instance, you sing – 843, they repeat 843 then you say 123, they repeat 123, you say 4567, they repeat 4567, that’s my phone number, that’s my phone number.

Also, we are beginning to work on memorizing our home address.  Please work on this at home.

Math- Counting to 100
